As a young child, René Gomez has always had an itch to tell stories. What started off as little short film with his stuffed animals turned into a passion. By the time he entered middle school, René knew what he wanted to do in life - tell stories.
By his junior year of high school, René had started working at a movie theatre to save and invest all his checks towards buying equipment that would allow his videos to improve, all while watching as many educational videos online and reading as many books relating to film that he could get his hands on.
In 2018, René created Nightgaze Studios and began working freelance when he wasn’t stressing about college exams. Since then, he has brought on his good friend, Jared Hopkins, to help him out with pre-production, production, and post-production. The two have since worked together on multiple corporate work, music videos, weddings, and short films.
